BRAVE B-Phat large particle detector for continuous in-flow analysis of particles

This is one frame image from a full video of a measurement. It shows how each passing particle is detected and given an ID tag. The software simultaneously evaluates the size of each detected particle and creates continuously updated histograms.

How does BRAVE B-Phat work?

BRAVE B-Phat pumps sample continuously through a sample cell with a powerful light source focused through it.

The device records a video of the sample passing through the sample cell based on dynamic image analysis principles. Tailored algorithms are used to evaluate the video images.
